A Codex skill installed with git clone into ~/.codex/skills. Prompts always run in 8 sections (reference, subject, background, timeline, camera, style, audio, constraints); a complex 2.5 prompt targets 4,300 to 4,800 characters with a 5,000 hard cap, and anything over the cap is rewritten as compressed Simplified Chinese. A bundled Python script, count_prompt_chars.py, does the counting, and the reply ends with the length. An explicitly requested 2.0 Fast uses the repo's own 15-second, 4,000-character profile, which the author notes is not an official spec.
