ShortVideoDirector
wddxh/ShortVideoDirector
ShortVideoDirector is an agent skill project by wddxh on GitHub: 4 subagents collaborate to turn a story idea into video storyboard and asset prompts, and can call the Dreamina CLI to generate images and submit video tasks. It covers characters, episodes, storyboard and prompts, with prompts for Seedance / Jimeng, and its README says it works with Claude Code. 21 stars, last updated 2026-09-16, MIT license.
Editor's notes
It loads as a plugin in Claude Code, OpenCode or Codex, with two entry commands: /short-video for a single episode and /series-video for a series. Full production needs Node.js, Python 3, FFmpeg with libx264, Pillow and a CJK font, and image and video generation go through the Dreamina CLI. Output lands in the project folder: script.md, storyboard.md, a taskNN.json per generation task, and a whole-episode preview MP4 with captions and timecodes. The workflow stops before paid video submission; after that you can ask the AI to submit and download tasks by number.
